We are seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to head the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Digital Manufacturing within a dynamic FMCG operations network. This pivotal role is ideal for a professional adept at integrating advanced technologies with manufacturing processes, driving digital transformation to elevate productivity, efficiency, and quality across multiple production sites.

As the Manager – Digital Manufacturing CoE, you will be instrumental in shaping, executing, and scaling smart manufacturing initiatives. Your expertise in leveraging cutting-edge digital tools—including IoT, SCADA, MES, AI, SAP S/4HANA, and data analytics—will be key to advancing the organization’s Industry 4.0 journey. You will establish global best practices and ensure operational excellence throughout the manufacturing landscape.

## Key Responsibilities

### Digital Manufacturing Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital manufacturing roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead the evaluation and deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI/ML, robotics, predictive analytics, digital twins) to enhance operational performance.
- Define standards and governance frameworks for digital initiatives across multiple facilities.

### Centre of Excellence (CoE) Governance
- Establish a centralized CoE framework to guide and support digital manufacturing initiatives enterprise-wide.
- Develop digital maturity models, best-practice playbooks, and standardized KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, downtime).
- Drive capability building through training, knowledge sharing, and upskilling programs for manufacturing teams.

### Process Optimization & Automation
- Oversee the integration of SCADA, MES, and PLC-based automation systems with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA.
- Champion process automation and data connectivity on the shop floor to enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with plant teams to optimize production planning, quality management, and asset performance using digital tools.

### Analytics & Data-Driven Performance
- Utilize advanced analytics and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to convert manufacturing data into actionable insights.
- Implement dashboards and control towers for real-time visibility into production, energy, and quality KPIs.
- Support data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

### Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management
- Partner with IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to ensure seamless digital integration.
- Lead organizational change and stakeholder engagement to foster digital adoption and cultural transformation.
- Manage vendor relationships and assess emerging digital technologies for continuous improvement.

### Compliance & Sustainability
- Ensure all digital systems adhere to GMP, HACCP, ISO, and relevant regulatory standards for FMCG manufacturing.
- Leverage digital solutions to enhance traceability, energy efficiency, and sustainability reporting.

## Technical Skills

- Extensive experience in FMCG manufacturing or process industries with multi-line/multi-site operations.
- Proficiency in SCADA, MES, PLC-based automation, and SAP S/4HANA (Production Planning, Maintenance, Quality modules).
- Strong knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.
- Exposure to IoT architecture, cloud integration, data analytics, and machine learning in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, IT/OT convergence, and digital infrastructure planning.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automation, or related fields).

- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management (PMP), or Industry 4.0 tools are advantageous.
